Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a value resort and if you are looking for a properly Disney themed hotel then this is the one for you!
Opened in 2012, it immerses guests in the artistry and storytelling of some of Disney and Pixar’s most popular animated films.
It combines bright colours, affordable accommodation and has skyliner access for convenient transportation!
Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts are sister resorts as they share the same skyliner access, are located next to each other and offer similar amenities and dining options.
Rooms
Disney’s Pop Century Resort offers both standard rooms and family suites (the only value resort to offer these!) The standard rooms are located in The Little Mermaid section (furthest away from the main lobby) and are slightly larger than other value resorts. These sleep up to 4 adults.
The family suites sleep up to 6 people and are located in the Finding Nemo, The Lion King and Cars sections. They feature a master bedroom, two bathrooms, kitchenette and a living area. The living area features 1 double sized sleeper sofa and 1 double sized table bed.
Dining
Landscape of Flavors Food Court (Quick Service)
Large cafeteria-style food court with diverse options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Offers American, Italian and Indian inspired dishes amongst others.
Drop Off Pool Bar
Located next to the Big Blue Pool and serves tropical cocktails, beer, wine and light snacks such as pizza and chicken strips.
Pizza Delivery
You are able to order pizza delivery fresh to your room too - a great option to feed the whole family after a busy day!

Pools & Recreation
This resort has 3 different pools spread throughout the resort:
Big Blue Pool (Main Pool): This Finding Nemo themed pool is the biggest at any Disney Value resort!
Cozy Cone Pool (Cars Themed): A quieter pool area with cone-shaped cabanas.
Flippin’ Fins Pool (The Little Mermaid Themed): A smaller pool next to the standard Little Mermaid themed rooms.
The resort also has an arcade, Lion King themed playground, nightly campfires to roast free marshmallows and offer Movies Under the Stars. There are also jogging trails around the beautiful Hourglass Lake which connects to Pop Century Resort.

Transportation
Art of Animation Resort is located in the ESPN Wide World of Sports Resort Area. Complimentary bus transportation is provided to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs and the Water Parks.
A big advantage this hotel has over the All-Star Resorts is having easy access to the Skyliner. You can travel in style to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios by using this quick and scenic form of transportation.

Adventures x Paradise Review
Disney's Art of Animation is our favourite value resort! Both families have had brilliant trips here and it was such a huge hit with the kids when they were younger. The Disney theming makes the resort feel like you are still in one of the parks. However, it is also usually the most expensive value resort as it is so popular and when it comes down to it, although it is themed differently, this hotel is very similar to the other value resorts when it comes to space and standard room layouts so you need to weigh up if you’re happy to pay the extra to stay here.
The food court is excellent and has such a great variety, with each family member able to order from a different kiosk meaning everyone gets the food they want, and pools here are a fun place to spend some down time.
TOP TIP - Explore the whole resort! This is one hotel where we really recommend taking the time to walk throughout all of the different areas as they are all themed so well and have so many wonderful photo opportunities!
