Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a seaside-themed deluxe resort, inspired by the Victorian Elegance of historic grand seaside resorts (like the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego). It is one of 5 resorts located on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and offers stunning views of Cinderella Castle, direct access to the monorail and has a luxurious atmosphere with a lavish lobby featuring towering chandeliers and live music.
Walt Disney World’s flagship resort is also home to The Grand Floridian Spa which offers a great selection of relaxing and revitalising therapies and services including massages, manicures and many other body treatments.
Rooms
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offers standard rooms, club-level suites and Disney Vacation Club villas.
The standard resort rooms sleep 5 guests. Recently renovated rooms are decorated in gorgeous shades of green, blue and white and are elegant with a very subtle Mary Poppins theme. These rooms come with a range of views including Magic Kingdom, Pool, Garden, Seven Seas Lagoon, Courtyard or Marina.

Adventures x Paradise Review
Paradise Falls Family are really open about this being their favourite hotel on property! It was a dream of Katy’s to stay here after seeing it as a child and this was finally realised in 2023 after visiting the resort many times previously! The service at this resort is just exceptional (and we’ve seen this in action even just visiting the resort without staying there). The standard rooms were recently refurbished and are absolutely stunning, the Mary Poppins touches are so subtle but add so much to the ambience. The rooms seem massive compared to most standard rooms on property, the pools are excellent and the Alice in Wonderland splash pad is one of our favourites on property. This is one resort that really lives up to its reputation and staying here really is a magical experience.
TOP TIP - One of the best spots here to watch the fireworks is right outside of the quick service restaurant, Gasparilla Island Grill. After a long day, grab a really good value dinner and sit on one of the outside tables for a great view of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks (with the music being piped in around you!
