Disney's Polynesian Resort

Disney's Polynesian Resort

Tropical garden with waterfall, lush greenery, palm trees, rocks, and a small stream under a clear blue sky.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a tropical-themed deluxe resort, inspired by the South Pacific. It is one of 5 resorts located on the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, and offers stunning views of Cinderella Castle, direct access to the Monorail, and a laid-back island atmosphere with lush landscaping, tiki torches, and a relaxing beachside vibe.

The thatched longhouses, Polynesian decor, lush gardens, waterfalls and beachfront hammocks make it a South Pacific paradise in the heart of Walt Disney World!

Rooms

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort offers standard rooms, club-level accommodations, and overwater bungalows.

The standard resort rooms sleep 5 guests. They have been recently refurbished with Moana-inspired decor, featuring characters like Maui and Te Fiti subtly woven into the room’s design. All resort rooms are in traditional Polynesian longhouses named after islands of the South Pacific.

You will also find DVC studios (pictured below) in the Moorea, Tokelau and Pago Pago longhouses, which also sleep up to 5 guests.

The stunning new ‘Island Tower’ offers a range of duo studios, studios, 1 bedroom villas and 2 bedroom villas (sleeping up to 9 guests), including a penthouse!

Club-Level rooms (King Kamehameha Club) provide access to a private lounge with complimentary food and drinks, personalised concierge services and added amenities.

The Bora Bora Bungalows are luxury overwater villas with private decks, plunge pools and breathtaking views of Magic Kingdom and the fireworks. They can sleep up to 8 guests, but come with a hefty price tag!

Adventures x Paradise Review

After staying at this resort a number of times, it has quickly become one of our favourites! The room sizes are amazing, the kids LOVE the lava pool, and you can’t beat having dole whip on tap all day, right?! With so many dining options available, lots of recreation activities going on throughout the day, and just a hop on the monorail away from Magic Kingdom, it really does offer a bit of everything for everyone 🌴

TOP TIP - Don’t forget to grab a traditional ‘lei’ necklace from the lobby when you pass through. If there aren’t cast members handing them out, just ask!
