Disney's Vero Beach Resort

Disney's Vero Beach Resort

Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resort located along Florida’s Treasure Coast (and is about two hours south-east of Walt Disney World).

Opened in 1995, this is one of just a few Disney Resorts not located close to a theme park. It is a laid-back beachfront escape which combines Disney magic and old Floridian charm.

Inspired by Florida’s coastal history, with classic beach house architecture with nautical and rustic décor which gives an elegant yet relaxed feel. The Disney theming is quite subtle at this resort with hidden Mickeys to be spotted and occasional character appearances.

The resort is designed for the perfect mix of relaxation, outdoor adventure and family-friendly activities and is a great place to visit either before or after a Walt Disney World trip to make sure you have some relaxation time on your vacation!

Rooms

Vero Beach offers standard rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas.

The standard resort rooms (Inn rooms) sleep 4 guests. These are located in the main building and are either garden, resort, pool or ocean view.

You will find DVC studios along with a wide range of other DVC room types such as 1 bedroom villas (sleeping up to 5 guests), 2 bedroom villas (sleeping up to 9 guests) and 3 bedroom cottages (sleeping up to 12 guests).

Adventures x Paradise Review

Both families absolutely adore this beachside resort! We love adding it onto the end of a Walt Disney World trip for a few days of relaxation after some busy theme park days. It works really well for breaking up a drive from Orlando to Miami too if you are getting some cheaper flights to Florida from the UK and grabbed a bargain flying to and from Miami.

The resort itself is located on a gorgeous stretch of beach. The Disney touches are subtle but the service here is absolutely what you have come to associate with the brand - exceptional!

TOP TIP - The character breakfast here is not to be missed. It is only on once a week (Saturday morning) but can be booked even if you are not staying at the resort! It features delicious dishes such as Bananas Foster French Toast.
