Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are two interconnected deluxe resorts. They share many amenities and you can walk between the two both indoors and outdoors but they have different themes and atmospheres which make them both individual!

The Beach Club has a casual, relaxed New England vibe and mimics a beachside resort with pastel colours and a really family friendly atmosphere.

The Yacht Club is still in the New England style but is more formal with darker wood tones and a nautical theme. This side definitely feels slightly more upscale.

They both share what is generally acknowledged to be one of the best resort swimming pools - Stormalong Bay! They are within easy walking distance of Epcot and are just a short boat ride (or a longer 25 minute walk) away from Hollywood Studios too.

Rooms

Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort offers standard rooms, club-level suites and Disney Vacation Club villas.

The Yacht Club standard resort rooms and the Beach Club rooms sleep up to 5 guests. The Yacht Club has a more formal decor with dark wood and navy blue accents. The Beach Club has lighter decor with pastel blues and soft whites.

You will find DVC studios (pictured below) at the Beach Club with resort views. There are also a range of other DVC room types such as 1 bedroom villas and 2 bedroom villas (sleeping up to 8 guests).

Club-Level rooms provide access to a private concierge service, an exclusive lounge - Stone Harbor Club/Regatta Club - with complimentary food and drinks and added amenities.

Cozy hotel room with a large bed, white bedding, and fluffy pillows. The room features a beige sofa, a wooden table, and wall lamps. A framed artwork and floor lamp are near the window, which opens to a balcony with a green view.

Dining

The Beach and Yacht Club is home to some great dining options. They have a good mix of signature dining, character dining and quick service restaurants.

Yachtsman Steakhouse (Signature Dining Restaurant)

  • An upscale steakhouse with a warm, intimate feel specialising in high end cuts of meat and seafood.

  • Renowned for dishes such as the New York Strip Steak with Peppercorn-Brandy Sauce.

Cape May Café (Character Breakfast and Dinner Buffet)

  • Both breakfast and dinner are offered here (characters only appear at breakfast and feature Minnie Mouse and some of her friends).

  • Breakfast buffet includes favourites such as Mickey Waffles and dinner is a seafood based buffet with things like shrimp and clams.

Ale and Compass (Restaurant and Market Grab-and-Go)

  • Casual New England style pub food which we all love. Our favourite dishes include Dark Chocolate Waffles and Buffalo Cauliflower Wings.

  • The market gives you some grab and go options such as breakfast favourites, paninis and coffee.

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (Casual Sit-Down Dining)

  • This has been a longstanding favourite and everyone needs to try the famous Kitchen Sink Sundae at least once!

  • Themed nostalgically after the Atlantic seaside with flavoured sodas, milkshakes and food such as hot dogs, burgers and grilled cheese.

Beach Club Marketplace (Quick Service)

  • Open from 7am to 11pm and serving things such as breakfast items, pasta, sandwiches and salads.

Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill (Poolside Bar and Quick Service)

  • Enjoy the view of Stormalong Bay with signature cocktails, beers and frozen drinks such as the famous Disney Pina Colava.

  • Food options here include things like onion rings, burgers and chicken strips.

Crew’s Cup Lounge (Bar and Lounge)

  • Located next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse - this bar includes a good wine, cocktail and beer selection along with a few food choices.

Pools and Amenities

One of the main reasons people choose this resort as a favourite is the amazing pool shared by both hotels!

  • Stormalong Bay: This is the only sand bottomed pool at any of the Disney Resorts and the pool itself is absolutely huge here! It also has a lazy river and a huge 230 ft waterslide which starts at the top of a life sized shipwreck replica! There are also multiple whirlpools for you to relax and unwind after a busy day in the parks.

  • Because of it’s popularity, access to this is restricted to guests staying at resorts and DVC members. This is strictly enforced with cast members checking resort IDs before permitting entry.

Recreation activities available at this resort include movies under the stars, poolside cabana rentals, resort campfire activities with free marshmallows to roast each evening, fishing, tennis, pickleball, volleyball and an arcade.

Transportation

This resort is absolutely perfect for any EPCOT lovers as it is just around a 5 minute walk to the International Gateway entrance of the park. This also means it has great access to the Skyliner for quick and fun transportation to Hollywood Studios, Caribbean Beach Resort, Riviera Resort, Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts.

There are also regular boat transfers to Hollywood Studios, BoardWalk Inn and the Swan & Dolphin resorts.

You can then get direct bus transportation to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs.

Adventures x Paradise Review

We really like this hotel. It can be quite hard to get DVC rooms here so we jumped at the chance to stay here when we could. We loved the swimming pool but found it could be quite hard to get a lounger around this as so many families take full advantage of this resort and stay here all day. The rooms were fairly tired when we stayed but have since been refurbished and look lovely now. It is a great resort to stay at if you are planning on spending a lot of time at EPCOT too as it is only a few minutes walk away, which also opens up a lot more dining options as World Showcase is so handy when staying here!

TOP TIP - Make sure you build in some chill time at the resort to really make the most of staying here. The pool, along with lazy river and excellent slide, is like a mini water park!
