Important Things To Know
The credits are pooled together and are not allocated to individual members of your party (aside from children and adults which are seperate), or particular days, so you can use 2 table-service credits and 5 snacks in one day if you wanted (although you may feel a little sick if you do this!!)
Credits are available from your check-in day and until midnight on your check-out day
Unlike previous offers pre-pandemic you cannot exchange multiple snack credits for a quick service meal or vice versa, they can only be used on the meal they are valid for
All menus feature the Dining Plan symbol (see picture below) so you can easily identify which meals and snacks are included
A table service credit is valid at sit-down restaurants including character meals, some signature meals may require 2 credits
A quick service credit is valid at counter service restaurants
Snack credits can be used at snack booths, festival booths, Starbucks and much more
Tips are not included and must still be factored in to your budget!
Your receipt will show the remaining credits in each category so be such to hang onto these to help keep track
How To Maximise Your Plan
If on the full Disney Dining Plan with deluxe resort stays, use your table service credits for character dining! These are usually the most expensive meals, and you get an opportunity to meet some of your favourite characters simultaneously. Some top picks of ours for this would be Tusker House, Topolino’s Terrace, 1900 Park Fare, ‘Ohana (breakfast only), Storybook Dining at Artist Point, Hollywood & Vine and Crystal Palace.
The EPCOT festivals are an amazing way to use snack credits, trying foods from around the world that could easily constitute a meal, for the price of a snack credit, will make your credits stretch so much further.
Excess snack credits can be used on packaged snacks to take home for souvenirs or gifts!
Share meals to get your credits to go further, we regularly get 3 meals between 4 people anyway as they are so big in the US!
Top Tips
Try to only schedule one table service meal per day, they can be lengthy so if you are trying to maximise park time then you will lose a couple of hours each on these meals
Don’t skip the restaurants at the resorts, a lot of our favourites aren’t in the parks themselves!
Try to plan ahead so the meals you book are where you are planning to be that day, that way you won’t lose time getting to and from places to eat
And finally, enjoy! Walt Disney World really does have some incredible food options that can really make your experience there memorable.
